The Municipality has acquired an automated calling system in order to reach its citizens rapidly and efficiently in an emergency situation (natural catastrophe, evacuation notice). This tool will allow for a faster reaction time and to target a particular sector if need be. The aim is to contact a maximum number of people in the least amount of time.
This system will make it possible for you to register to a priority mailing list in order to receive important notices, by phone (residential or cellular) by text message (SMS) and by e-mail making it possible for you to act rapidly.
The system will send you a text message (SMS), e-mail or phone call, when you answer, it is very important not to hang up and to listen to the entire message. This will prevent the system from contacting you a second time, it will stop any attempts after 3 tries. If you cannot answer or you are not there, it will leave a message on your answering machine.
Who can receive alarms?
· A resident;
· Someone related to the resident;
· Tradesmen, businesses and institutions
You are already registered if you had a phone number in the local phone book when the system was set up (2020). However, if you wish to be notified other than by your home phone, you must modify your information.
